About us

Jukebox Records was first established in 1990, and first came to the internet in 1999. We have a solid reputation for providing the best selection of hard-to-find items, with more than 60 years of experience in the music industry! Because of this, we have great sources and contacts to locate those hard to find items. So if you don’t see is listed, ask us. Our goal is to be the best small business we can be, and create both happy and loyal customers.

Our current inventory consists of new re-issues, collectible original singles, & back-to-back hit 45’s for your jukebox or turntable. We have over 200,000 45’s in stock. We are also adding to our site daily, so check back often or follow us on Facebook to stay informed on new listings!

Because the merchandise we offer is at a limited quantity, we reserve the right to limit the number of copies any one customer can order. Most 45’s are out of print and once they are gone, they are gone for good!

Like / follow our new Facebook page to know of all new items posted to our site each week!

SITE NAVIGATION TIPS

Our inventory is organized alphabetically by band name OR artist’s last name.

Examples:
Buddy Ace will be in the A pages; Belinda Carlisle will be in the C pages, etc.
The Beatles will be in the B pages; The Diamonds will be in the D pages, etc.

When an artist’s name appears in the band name, it will be under the artist last name.

Examples:
John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band will be in the C pages; Steve Miller Band will be in the M pages

Once you’re on the band/artist page, records are listed numerically by record label number.

This is helpful because many times this means it’s also in release date order (i.e., smaller numbers were released first, larger numbers last).

Note: Because some artists have a large selection, you’ll find multiple pages for them – be sure to check them all!

On any page of the site, you can press the Ctrl+F keys on your keyboard to bring up a ‘find’ box.

Type in any key word you want to search for on that page, and the find box will take you straight there!

DID YOU KNOW?

The most common form of the vinyl single is the 45 or 7-inch. The names are derived from its play speed, 45 rpm, and the standard diameter, 7 inches (18 cm).

The 7 inch 45 rpm record was first released March 31, 1949 by RCA Victor as a smaller, more durable and higher-fidelity replacement for the 78 rpm shellac discs. The first 45 rpm records were monaural, with recordings on both sides of the disc. As stereo recordings became popular in the 1960’s, almost all 45 rpm records were produced in stereo by the early 1970’s.
